Receive Neurofeedback Training at Home!
Highpoint Neurofeedback now offers patients the technology to receive neurofeedback training in the comfort of their own homes.
Recent advancements in technology have led to the creation of compact neurofeedback units created for home use. These small, easily transportable units use the same EEG-driven technology as our in-office units and are available to use at home. Of course, in-office training will remain available for our patients, but this new technology also allows our patients to complete neurofeedback training in the comfort of their own home and eliminates the need to drive to our office for routine sessions.
Reduce Potential Exposure
For those who are at an increased risk group for Covid-19, training at home will allow you to continue your training without the risk of leaving your home. While the initial testing, like the brain mapping and training plan creation, need to be completed in our office, subsequent trainings can be performed on your own, at home. We will provide the unit for home use, an app to use with your home computer, and give you a full demonstration on how to use the equipment.
For neurofeedback training at home, we recommend a softly lit room in a quiet area of your home, similar to the experience in our office. To decrease potential interference with the neurofeedback equipment, we recommend turning off all electronics, including cell phones. If you ever have questions or concerns about the neurofeedback process at home, we are available to answer your questions to ensure an excellent in-home experience.
Training Wherever You Are
The portability of our in-home training units allows you to do neurofeedback training from anywhere you can access a computer. For our patients who live far away from our clinic, in-home training offers the full benefits of in-office training, but without the drive, traffic, or time commitment of traveling to us. All of the home training sessions are recorded and viewable by our office staff, and routine follow-ups can be completed via phone or through our HIPAA compliant patient portal.
